Scum
(1987)
From Enslavement To Obliteration
(1988)

Scum is an album by the grindcore band Napalm Death. The Side A of Scum was recorded for 50 in August 1986, and was intended to be released as a split album. After a few line-up changes the second half of Scum was recorded in May 1987 at Rich Bitch Studios, where the first half had been recorded as well, and released both halves through Earache in July 1987.

The song "You Suffer" was listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the world's shortest song; though the track is four seconds long, the song itself is a mere three quarters of a second (The length of the track is due to the CD specification requiring a minimum track length of 4 seconds). The album cover was designed by Bill Steer's Carcass bandmate, Jeffrey Walker.
